Following the previously launched Asha 501, Nokia has launched Asha 500, in a bid to expand the Asha series. The fresh look that Nokia has added to the phone is the “ice” layer of transparent polycarbonate. Beneath it we can see the colourful bright colored covers available in yellow, red, green, black, white and cyan. It has a few cool features like taking a photo with a single swipe and sharing it on social network with a single tap.
The Fastlane multi-tasking feature of Nokia phone can now be customized to protect privacy. This phone is cheaper than Asha 501 and so some of the features are lacking in it. It has a 2.8 inch screen which is .2” smaller than Asha 501. It has 2MP camera which is lesser than Asha 501’s 3.15MP camera. It supports 2G and WiFi for internet access. It is available in Dual SIM along with Single SIM variant.
