Samsung is expanding its line of Galaxy Tab and Galaxy Note tablets with new Pro models focused on multitasking and productivity. The screen size of Note Pro 12.2 is nearly the size of an ultrabook as it has as the name suggests it’s got a 12.2 inch Super Clear LCD capacitive touchscreen. It has a high 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution, resulting in 245PPI pixel density which is pretty crisp. As compared to other Android devices which offer pop-up windows for using more than one app simultaneously, the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 features the new four-pane multi-window multi tasking. The panes in the multi-window system can be resized freely, and it's also possible to open two instances of the same app at once to compare them side by side. This tablet features Samsung's new home screen layout called Magazine UX. The layout offers tiles of apps and information that users can customize and configure. It is somewhat like the Live Tile system in Windows 8.1. It comes with the stylus S Pen which has features like the Note 3. Hovering over the screen with the stylus and pressing its single button brings up the half circle pen wheel. The circle menu includes Active Memo, Scrapbook, Screen Write, S Finder and Pen Window.

The WiFi and 3G models contain an Exynos 5 Octa chip with a combined 1.9 GHz quad core and 1.3 GHz quad core processor. Whereas the Note Pro 12.2 LTE model is a Snapdragon 800 2.3GHz quad core processor. Both the models have 3GB RAM. There are two option available for internal storage memory: 32GB and 64GB. Both can be expanded up to 64GB by microSD card. It runs the Android KitKat version 4.4. The rear camera takes 8-megapixel photos with autofocus and an LED flash. Around front, the tablet fits in 2-megapixel camera. Note pro 12.2 has a 9500mAh battery and comes with Bluetooth Mouse and Keyboard. This is the 32GB version that wasn't announced along with the higher 64GB variant in India.
