Samsung is hell-bent on making Neo versions of its popular handsets. This time it has reused most components of the Galaxy S3, added some extra RAM and replaced the processor with a slower one. S3 Neo has the same 4.8 inch screen with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels. The Quad-core processor runs at 1.2GHz while the one in the original model clocked at 1.4GHz. Although RAM has been increased to 1.5GB. The internal storage of this device stays the same at 16GB and is expandable upto 64GB.

There is no change in camera; the same 8MP rear sensor and a 1.9MP front-facing camera. Connectivity options are also the same when compared to the original one, just that Neo lacks NFC. One big difference though is that the Galaxy S3 Neo is a Dual-SIM phone. Software-wise, it runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with Samsung’s TouchWIZ UI overlay, retaining features like Smart Stay and Smart Alert. The same 2100mAh battery is there to juice this smartphone.
