Micromax is trying to come up with phones larger in size, to match the growing trend (pun intended). With the Canvas XL, another phone lines up in the phablet category that has a huge 6 inch screen. It’s screen resolution is 540 x 960 pixels which might result in a little lesser clarity (Micromax Canvas Magnus A117 has a smaller 5 inch screen with a higher 1280 x 720 pixel). It’s powered by a quad core processor running at 1.3 GHz speed. It’s got 1GB RAM and 4GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB by microSD card. The phablet runs Android Jelly Bean 4.2.

The primary camera at the back has an 8MP sensor which can record HD videos at 720p. Interestingly, at front you have a reasonably high 5MP camera sensor, possibly for taking better selfies.
